Kind + Jugend (Child + Youth), the trade show for children's products being held Sept. 19-22 in Cologne, Germany, will feature its "kidsroomZOOM" design show in a dedicated "park" in Hall 10.1.
The aim of kidsroomZOOM! is to create products designed with a child's point of view in mind. kidsroomZOOM! is a joint effort by international designers, artists, producers, users, publishers and curators.
"With the design park, we are strengthening the Kind + Jugend portfolio in the area of contemporary design for children's rooms," says Katharina Hamma, chief operating officer at Koelnmesse GmbH, the show's sponsor. "Even when it comes to the design of children's rooms, individuality and lifestyle play an increasingly important role."
Curator for kidsroomZOOM! is unduetrestella of Milan, Italy, a special project of design and contemporary art for children directed by Paola Noé. A total of some 40 designers from all over Europe are participants in this special show.
