Kind + Jugend Wraps up Another Successful Show

The Kind + Jugend show that took place September 11-14 in Köln, Germany was yet again, a big hit. Not only did the number of exhibitors (1,052) surpass last year's record, but there were more attendees from abroad this year—109 countries to be exact. The award ceremony of the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award in eight categories traditionally marked the start of the trade fair. This year, 184 products were submitted by 135 exhibitors from 28 countries in a bid to win the coveted winner's seal. The jury of the Innovation Awards was made up of international trade journalists and safety experts. The winners of the 2014 Innovation Awards are:
