The Annual Chicago Toy & Game Fair Returns

The 11th Annual Chicago Toy & Game Fair – the only U.S. fair of its kind open to the public – will be returning to Navy Pier on Saturday, November 23, 2013 and Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Discover top trends in toys and games and preview, play and purchase the hottest games on the market just in time for holiday shopping season. As the number one city in the world for toy and game invention, Chicago is the perfect hub to host this event. The memorable weekend offers contests, live stage entertainment, interactive exhibits, tournaments and more.
The Toy & Game Inventor Awards, (also known as the TAGIE Awards) will take place on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. Celebrating the inventors behind the best playthings through an elegant dinner and awards ceremony for industry leaders, the TAGIE awards are open to the public and the tickets cost $250 each, and require registration found here. Voting will be available to the public from September 15 through November 1 at tagieawards.com/us, where the categories Excellence in Toy Design, Excellence in Game Design, Rising Star Designer, Young Inventor of the Year and Excellence in Electronic Toy or Game Design can be voted on.
